Bounce Factory is the longest running social dance night for lindy hopper in Padova (but we are also welcoming balboists, bluesers and shaggers)

WEDNESDAY’S
LEVEL 1 – 8.00pm – 9.00pm @Suspended Loads | Vicolo del Portello, 12 – Padua
followed by SOCIAL DANCE!
What do you need to know? Nothing! It is enough to know how to distinguish right from left. Even if you have experience in other dances but have never danced Lindy Hop you must attend this course.
What will you learn? You will begin to build the foundation of your swing by learning the basics of Lindy Hop. You will start from the 8-beat base, with and without the triple steps (you will soon discover what we are talking about), to allow you to dance even the fastest songs straight away. We will teach you to lead and follow some of the most characteristic figures of this dance, including the swing out.
LEVEL 2 – 9.00pm – 10.00pm @BodyExperience | Via Tiepolo, 67 – Padua
followed by SOCIAL DANCE @CarichiSospesi | Vicolo del Portello, 12 – Padua
What do you need to know? Previous knowledge? To be able to attend this course you must have attended at least 1 Lindy Hop Level 1 course.
What will you learn? By continuing to work on the 8-beat base, and especially on the swing out, you will also begin to include the 6-beat base in your dance. You will have fun mixing the two bases while listening to the music. We will teach you to lead and follow the two bases and some of the funniest figures of this dance.
LEVEL 4 – 8.00pm – 9.00pm @BodyExperience | Via Tiepolo, 67 – Padua
followed by SOCIAL DANCE @CarichiSospesi | Vicolo del Portello, 12 – Padua
What do you need to know? To be able to access this course you must have attended at least one year of the course. We ask students coming from other schools to contact the teachers before accessing the course.
What will you learn? All the basic concepts covered in the first year such as bounce, stretch, connection, momentum, leading & following will be reviewed and explored in depth. The figures seen during the first year will be explored in depth through variations. You will learn new figures and expand your double hi-hat vocabulary.
Finally, go ahead for improvisation!
